About Foundry Pattern Service
Foundry Pattern Service, Inc. has been producing high-quality pattern tooling for the foundry industry since 1959. From our 35,000 sq. ft. facility, our experienced design engineers and patternmakers manufacture custom tooling in wood, metal and plastic for a wide range of foundry applications.
Our in-house capabilities combine traditional patternmaking experience with modern technology, including CAD design, absolute arm laser scanning, 3D printing and CNC machining. This allows our team to take projects from design and reverse engineering through tooling production while meeting our customers' specifications and requirements.

Our Pattern Services
Design and Engineering
Our in-house design and engineering team develops foundry pattern tooling from customer drawings and CAD files. We can also reverse engineer existing patterns and tooling using absolute arm laser scanning technology.
3D Printing
Our 3D printing capabilities allow us to produce prototypes, patterns and custom components for a variety of foundry tooling applications.
CNC
Our CNC machining capabilities allow us to produce precise pattern tooling in metal, plastic and other materials. Our three CNC routers can accommodate work up to 84" × 154", while our HAAS VF4 and VF8 expand our capabilities for metal and plastic tooling.
Patternmaking
Our experienced patternmakers produce custom foundry patterns, core boxes, mounting and rigging to meet each customer's tooling requirements. We combine hands-on patternmaking expertise with modern design and manufacturing technology to produce accurate, dependable tooling.
